Scooby was literally rescued from death row at an overcrowded shelter. He is such a sweet, loving, happy boy - we're SO grateful to have been able to save him, and help him to find his forever home!

Poor Scooby was kept locked in a basement for the entire first year of his life before being surrendered to the shelter for no other reason than "we don't want him anymore." Because he was never allowed out to meet people or experience new situations in his previous home, he can sometimes be a little nervous. It didn't take him long to completely come out of his shell in his foster home however, and he has blossomed into a loving, cuddly guy! His foster parents are working with him on overcoming his shyness with new people and in new places, and he is doing well!

Scooby's foster mom says; "Scooby is a great dog!!  He loves to cuddle and be by people but is also very content sitting on his pillow and looking out the sliding glass door.  He loves his chewy bone and treats!!  Scooby has learned to sit to have his leash put on and taken off.  He LOVES walks and would thoroughly enjoy a yard he could run in.  He is good with other animals, he is gentle and likes to play."

Scooby is approx. 1 year old, 45lbs., and is neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative, on monthly flea/heartworm prevention and is microchipped. He is good with kids, walks well on lead, knows basic obedience, and is cratetrained and housetrained!  =)   He really is a GREAT dog, who will make a lucky family very happy!
