Midge came to us from the Cleveland city kennel, where she was so terrified she literally just stood and trembled, frozen in fear, unable and unwilling to move. Since being in her foster home, Midge has learned that life isn't so scary, and has really come out of her shell! She had some medical issues that needed addressed, but after some veterinary care and TLC, she is ready to find her forever family!

Midge is a sweet older gal that loves to be with a person. She's happy to sit on the couch and cuddle while you watch your favorite show; she's a wonderful little lap dog! She comes in for kisses and loves a good back scratch. She does really well with cats and other dogs, even bigger ones, but would also be content being a spoiled only pup. She's affectionate and attentive, does well on walks and loves being outside. She's unsure of new people at first, but warms up fast! She is crate trained and fully housetrained. If you make room in your heart and home for this girl, you won't be disappointed! She is just the cutest little scruffball, and her snaggle tooth underbite just adds to her charm!

She is approx. 10 years old, but sure doesn't act like it! She is relatively calm, but still has a cute, silly streak in her! She has had a dental and is fully vetted; spayed, heartworm negative, on monthly flea/heartworm prevention, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She weighs in at a whopping 10 lbs! She has had a full blood panel done, which came back completely normal. She did have a couple small mammary tumors that the vet discovered and removed during her spay. One came back as a non-cancerous overgrowth of tissue in response to years of hormones, and the other did come back as a low grade cancer, but the chances of it spreading are minimal, and the removal of the mass along with the spay are likely to be curative. Her new owners will just have to be diligent in monitoring for possible new lumps or bumps.

Midge's adoption fee is $200. Please click here to submit an application for her!
