Punkin is a 10 year old Terrier mix that came into the Cleveland city kennel as a stray. No one claimed her after her hold time, and we just couldn't say no to that face! We firmly believe that no old dog should ever be homeless or in a shelter. They deserve an amazing home where they will be loved, cared for and spoiled during their golden years! 

Please don't let Punkin's age scare you! This little firecracker is a true terrier and has a spunky attitude and personality that makes her seem much younger than she really is! She's a lot of fun and is looking for a new family that will make her senior years the best of her life!  =)

Punkin is a true sweetheart! Once she realized that she was safe she came right out of her shell and started enjoying the comforts of being in a home! She gets along well with other dogs and will interact when she wants to, but she'dreally love a home where she can be the only child and the focus of everyone's attention! Punkin enjoys playing with her toys, getting belly rubs, snuggling and burying herself in blankets. She also loves to go outside and explore! She's really laid back and easy to care for. Punkin gets along with the cat and actually will curl up and sleep with him at times. Punkin also likes to be "dressed"....it's not because she's cold but she likes the attention of everyone telling her how cute she looks!

Punkin is currently 14 lbs. and is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative and on monthly flea/heartworm preventative. She has also had blood testing done to check for age related medical issues and everything came back perfect! Her ideal home would be one where she could be the only pet and the center of attention. At her age and after all she's been through, we think she deserves it!
