About Warner | |

Warner came to us after a Good Samaritan (who workes for Time Warner) found him lying by the side of the road in the rain, covered in bite wounds and blood. Poor Warner was in such bad shape he could barely move, and the kind soul who found him scooped him up, took him home and contacted us. We immediately took him to our vet, where he spent a week in ICU recovering from shock and his many injuries. Sadly, it appeared as though Warner was either severely attacked by another dog, or used as a bait dog. His injuries covered his entire body, and he would freeze in fear and shake from head to toe when he saw another dog. Thankfully, after much TLC, several antibiotics, pain medications and hydro-therapy, Warner has fully recovered from his traumatic event and is now a happy, healthy, bouncy boy! He has even learned that other dogs aren't all scary, and now loves to play and make new canine friends!

Warner is so easy to love! In classic Pitty fashion, he has never met a person he didn't like! He’s lots of fun to be around and is truly the perfect mix of playful goofy puppy and snuggly couch potato. He’s just as happy to play fetch with a ball in the backyard as he is to take an afternoon nap in the hammock with you! After his rough start to life, he has quickly adjusted to a comfortable home life. Warner is crate trained and house broken. He loves going for walks and has decent leash manners. He is also invisible fence trained. He’s a very smart puppy and is quickly mastering basic commands. Warner loves to play with other dogs, although he may be shy with bigger dogs the first minute he meets them. His foster family already has two other dogs, otherwise they wouldn’t think twice about keeping him. You will “pawsitively” fall in love with him!
Warner is approx. 10 months old, currently 60lbs. and we guesstimate that he'll be around 65lbs. when fully grown. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and on monthly flea/heartworm preventative.
His adoption fee is $175.
